Establishment of the Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan
The idea of launching the Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan has been around for quite a while, but it was only recently that a Preparatory Committee composed of members representing Polish businesses active in Japan was officially formed.
After various consultations and required adjustments, we obtained approval for our Articles of Incorporation from Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry on February 1, 2007.
The aim of the Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan is to foster economic exchanges between the nations of Japan and Poland, particularly in the area of trade. To realize this aim, we work to establish ties with the governments of Japan and Poland, key parties in the EU, and prominent business leaders.
Main Activities
Promote Trade
Promote economic exchange between Japan and the Republic of Poland.
Research & Analysis
Collect and analyze materials on the Japanese economy, trends and dynamics, and publish findings significant for both countries.
Education
Conduct educational activities to promote PCCIJ’s objectives.
Policy Advocacy
Engage in political activities with Japanese and Polish governments and organizations.
Information Exchange
Promote the mutual exchange of information with other chambers in Japan.
Trade Information
Provide Japanese economic organizations with information about trade with Poland.
Membership
The Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan welcomes new members. Regular membership is open to all corporations, economic organizations, and individuals, both inside and outside Japan, that support our aims. Representatives from both Japan and Poland are particularly encouraged to join.
